ATLANTA, LLC will spin out its technology development firm, Advanced Technologies Group (ATG), as a separate entity. The new company’s formal name will be Apothym Technologies Group, LLC, but it will be known as ATG.

“This development fulfills our vision when we started ATG,” stated Alan Carson, President of Envistacom. “Over the past three years, ATG has made significant advances in virtualization and antenna development, and we will continue to create new and creative technologies based on both warfighter and commercial market needs.” This transition will enable Envistacom and ATG to concentrate on their respective markets.”

The headquarters of Apothym Technologies Group will be in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, with a research and development facility in Frederick, Maryland. Michael Geist, Envistacom’s current SVP of Strategy & Technology, will take over as President, aided by the present ATG team and an independent board of directors.

ATG will be formally launched at the SATELLITE 2022 conference, which will be held in Washington, DC from March 21 to 24, 2022.
